My name is Inge Raat, an artist with a great preference for painting. I love to make paintings with lots of color, patterns and animals. Art that makes happy.

Just like in the rest of my life, I keep trying new things, stepping out of my comfort zone. I also do this with painting, which is why I have many different styles. Some paintings start with an idea in my head, but most of them arise spontaneously. Brush on the canvas and see what it will become. When I make an abstract background, I often see an animal in its shapes.
And so I continue painting. I love not knowing what it will be, so it is always a surprise for me!
